Tulum Ruins Entrance Fee

As of 2025, visiting the Tulum ruins requires payment of three separate mandatory fees:

• INAH Archaeological Site Fee: 120 pesos
• State Conservation Fee: 100 pesos
• Jaguar Park Fee: 295 pesos

This brings the total entrance fee to 515 pesos (about $30 USD) per person^[1]. These fees are mandatory for all visitors, including adults and most children, with some sources noting that children under 12 may be exempt from certain components^[3].

The newly implemented Jaguar Park fee supports conservation efforts for the surrounding protected area and its wildlife. Payment is typically split among separate booths, and while credit cards may be accepted for some fees (especially the Jaguar Park), it’s advisable to carry sufficient cash in pesos^[1].

The Tulum Archaeological Zone is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the last entry at 3:30 PM^[1]. For the best experience, visit early in the morning to avoid crowds and heat.
