The entrance fee for the Storms River Suspension Bridge is a daily conservation fee payable at the Storms River Mouth entrance of Tsitsikamma National Park. Until 31 October 2025, the rates are as follows: R78.00 for South African Citizens and Residents, R156.00 for SADC Nationals, and R326.00 for International Visitors. If you have a Wildcard, conservation fees are waived. You will need to show identification at the gate[3]. Children’s rates are generally half price[4].
You do not need to book the walk in advance; simply pay the conservation fee at the gate to access the trail and the suspension bridge[1]. The park is open to day visitors, and the gates generally open at 8 am and close at 5 pm[3]. The fee covers access to the bridge and surrounding hiking trails. Please note that rates may change and it is advised to check with SANParks for the latest updates.
