Parthenon Entrance Fee

The entrance fee for the Parthenon (as part of the Acropolis archaeological site) in Athens is €30 for adults from April 1, 2025, onward[2][4][5]. The previous winter/summer pricing system has been replaced by this uniform annual rate.

Discounts and free admission rules:

  • Children and young people under 25 from EU countries: Free admission year-round (with valid proof of age and nationality)[4][5].
  • Children and young people under 5 from any country: Free admission[4].
  • All other discounts (reduced-price tickets) have been discontinued for summer 2025[5].

Free admission days:

  • March 6
  • April 18
  • May 18
  • Last weekend of September
  • October 28
  • First and third Sundays from November 1 to March 31

On these days, all visitors can enter the Acropolis (and the Parthenon) for free[1][2].

How to book: All tickets (including free and reduced-price tickets) now require booking a specific time slot in advance. It is recommended to book online before your visit to avoid long lines and potential sell-outs for the day[1][4][7].
