Grand Canyon National Park Entrance Fee

The Grand Canyon National Park entrance fee varies depending on the type of pass and mode of entry, and each pass is valid for up to seven days for both the South Rim and North Rim.[1]

  • Private Vehicle Pass: $35 – Valid for one private vehicle and all passengers.[1]
  • Motorcycle Pass: $30 – Valid for one motorcycle and its riders.[1]
  • Individual Pass: $20 per person – For those entering on foot, by bicycle, or via public transportation. Children under 16 are admitted free.[1]
  • Grand Canyon Annual Pass: $70 – Unlimited entry to Grand Canyon National Park for one year from the purchase date.[1]
  • America the Beautiful Annual Pass: $80 – Unlimited access for one year to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites, including Grand Canyon National Park.[7]

All passes grant access to both rims and help support park maintenance and conservation.[1] No reservations are needed for entry at this time.[3] Payment at entrance stations is by credit/debit card only—cash is not accepted.[3]

There are several fee-free days each year when entrance fees are waived, typically on national holidays and special observances.[1]

  • Discounts and Free Admission: U.S. military personnel, seniors (with Senior Pass), and individuals with permanent disabilities (Access Pass) may qualify for free or reduced admission.[4]
  • Children under 16: Free admission.[1]
