Starting from August 1, 2024, the Galapagos National Park entrance fee for international visitors will be US$200 per person, with a reduced rate of US$100 for children under 12 years old[1][2][3][7].
For visitors from CAN/MERCOSUR countries (Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay), the fee is US$100 per person[1].
Ecuadorian nationals pay US$30 per person, with exemptions for children under 12 and reduced rates for people aged 65 and over, or those registered as disabled[1][5].
The fee is paid once upon arrival at the airport in Galapagos and is used directly to support conservation initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and community programs aimed at mitigating the ecological impact of tourism on the islands[1][2][3][7].
No entrance fee is charged for infants under 2 years of age[1].
