Entrance Fee To Pyramids Of Giza

The current general admission fee to the Pyramids of Giza for adults is typically 700 EGP, while students with valid ID pay 350 EGP.[4][3][5] Children under 6 years old are admitted for free.[8]

This general ticket grants access to the entire Giza Plateau, where you can see the Great Pyramid (Khufu), Khafre’s Pyramid, Menkaure’s Pyramid, and the Great Sphinx from the outside.[3]

If you wish to enter the pyramids themselves, separate tickets are required:

  • Great Pyramid (Khufu): 900 EGP[4][1]
  • Khafre’s Pyramid: 220 EGP (some sources list 280 EGP)[1][4][5]
  • Menkaure’s Pyramid: 220–280 EGP[1][4][5]

Students may receive reduced rates for interior tickets as well, depending on presentation of valid student identification.[4]

Other optional expenses include tickets for the Solar Boat Museum, Sound & Light Show, or specific tombs within the complex. For interior photography, fees apply; exterior photography is free with the general ticket.[1][4]

Tickets can be purchased online through the official Egyptian monuments website or in-person at the gate, with credit card payment widely accepted.[5]
