Entrance Fee To Ephesus

The entrance fee to the main archaeological site of Ephesus in 2025 is 40 euros per person. This price now also includes access to the newly opened Ephesus Experience Museum, which provides an immersive, multimedia journey into the city’s history[1][2][3].

There are additional fees for optional areas within and around Ephesus:

  • Terrace Houses: 15 euros extra[1][2][3]
  • Ephesus Archaeological Museum in Selçuk: 10 euros[1][2]
  • Basilica of St. John: 6 euros[1][2]
  • House of the Virgin Mary: 500 Turkish Lira (approx. 14–18 euros)[5][7]
  • Children under 8 may enter Ephesus for free with valid ID/proof of age[3][5][7].

Tickets are available at the gate and payment can be made by credit card or cash. Combo tickets for multiple sites are also offered, such as Ephesus + Terrace Houses (52 euros), or package deals including the Museum and Basilica (65 euros)[2].

Admission prices are posted in euros since March 2024 as per updated Turkish tourism policy[1].
