Dubrovnik Walls Entrance Fee

The entrance fee for walking the Dubrovnik city walls in 2025 is €40 per adult and €15 for children aged 7 to 18; children under 7 years enter for free[1][4][5]. Students with a valid Croatian Student Card (X-ica), ISIC, or European Youth Card are also eligible for the €15 rate[1].

The ticket includes access to the main city walls, Minčeta Tower, the western outer wall, the Upper Corner Tower with the foundry museum, Fort Bokar, the archaeological site of St. Andrew’s, and the Lovrijenac Fortress[2][5]. The admission ticket is valid for 72 hours from the first scan, but allows only one entry per site[2][5]. Major credit cards are accepted at all entry points[2].

You can buy tickets in several ways:

  • On-site at the city walls entrance ticket offices (located near Pile Gate, Ploče Gate, and St. John’s Fortress)
  • Online via the official City Walls Dubrovnik website
  • Through the Dubrovnik Pass, which costs €40 for a one-day pass (same price as a single city walls ticket) and includes additional access to various museums and free public bus rides[1][4].

There are three main entrance points to the walls: Pile Gate, Ploče Gate, and St. John’s Fortress. You can enter or exit at any of these points[1].
