Cairo Museum Entrance Fee

The entrance fee for the Egyptian Museum in Cairo (Tahrir) is EGP 550 for foreign adults and EGP 275 for foreign students. Egyptian adults and Arab citizens pay EGP 30, while Egyptian and Arab students pay EGP 10. Admission is free for children under 6 years, Egyptians with special needs, and Egyptians above 60 years. The museum is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Photography with a mobile phone is free; a video ticket costs EGP 300[4][5].

The Grand Egyptian Museum near the Pyramids of Giza is a separate location: entrance fees for non-Egyptian adults are EGP 1200, for children and students EGP 600 each; Egyptians pay lower rates. Make sure to distinguish between these two museums when planning your visit[1].
