The entrance fee for the Grand Canyon South Rim is $35 per private vehicle (covering all occupants) for a pass valid for seven consecutive days[1][3][5]. Motorcycles are charged $30 per motorcycle for seven days[1][5]. If you are entering on foot, by bicycle, park shuttle, Grand Canyon Railway, or as part of a private rafting trip, the cost is $20 per person for seven days[1][5].
All entrance passes purchased at the South Rim are valid for both the South Rim and the North Rim during their open seasons[1][3]. Children under 16 years old are admitted free of charge[1][5]. The entrance stations only accept credit or debit cards; cash is not accepted[3].
If you plan to visit frequently, an annual Grand Canyon pass is available for $70. Alternatively, the America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass is $80 and grants access to over 2,000 federal recreation sites across the United States[1][4][5]. Discounted and free passes are available for seniors, U.S. military members, people with permanent disabilities, and fourth graders[4][5].

- April 19 – First Day of National Park Week
- June 19 – Juneteenth National Independence Day
